do you know what you'll be doing? i do. its election day. and its also an important one at that... every two years each seat in the house of representatives will be decided as well as many senators whose 6-year terms are ending.
why am i telling you this now? because next spring most states will hold primary elections and its a good time to learn about who intends to throw their hats into the ring for the positions... educating yourself about the issues and the candidates early is good because an informed voter is a good voter. Also, if you're not already registered to vote and over 18, its your civic duty to do so. in most states, the local dmv/bmv (that's what they're called in indiana) can register you when you get an id or license, and most public libraries also hander voter registration. You need to check your state requirements to see what identification is required to register (but a call to the library might yield faster results).
America's future is in your hands... so make your intentions known by casting your votes next year.
